Expression of Interest: Provision of the I Belong Programme Cultural Orientation course, required for Long-Term Residence Permit as per Subsidiary Legislation 217.05 – Status of Long-Term Residents (Third Country Nationals) Regulations

The Human Rights Directorate (HRD) invites further and higher educational institutions recognised as self-accrediting or holding a valid licence issued by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to deliver the I Belong Cultural Orientation course in accordance with the requirements of Subsidiary Legislation 217.05 – Status of Long-Term Residents (Third Country Nationals) Regulations, Clause 5(3)(a).

This EOI invites eligible educational institutions to:

  • Submit their interest in delivering the I Belong Cultural Orientation course.
  • Demonstrate relevant experience and institutional capacity.
  • Understand and comply with the EOI requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to the curriculum established by the HRD, as outlined in Annex I.
  • Deliver the I Belong Cultural Orientation course with a primary focus on intercultural education designed to support adult TCNs in their integration into Maltese society.
