On the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia 2019, the Human Rights Directorate in collaboration with the office of the Prime Minister held a ceremony aimed at recognising all the efforts by civil society on the road to equality in Malta.
The event was attended by members of government, public officials and members of civil society alike and hosted in one of the courtyards in Auberge de Castille. The attendees were addressed by both Hon Dr Helena Dalli, then Minister for European Affairs and Equality and Hon Dr Joseph Muscat, then Prime Minister of Malta.
