International Equal Pay Day
The United Nations is celebrating International Equal Pay Day for the first time on 18th September 2020. This day represent the longstanding efforts towards the achievement of equal pay for equal value, as well as further action towards meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The International Equal Pay Day builds on the UN commitment to human rights and all forms of discrimination. Achieving equal pay is an important milestone for human rights and gender equality.

European Equal Pay Day
4th November marks the European Equal Pay day
which aims to raise awareness that women in Europe still earn on average less
than their men colleagues. The 4th November was chosen to draw
the attention that women in Europe will work for free from this day until the
end of the year.
